Miriam Cabessa is one of Israel’s top visual artists. Since her breakthrough in the 1990s, when she won the Gottesdiener Prize of the Tel Aviv Museum and represented Israel at the Venice Biennale, she has developed a unique and identifiable personal painting language. Cabessa’s works have been exhibited in all the major museums in Israel, as well as in many prestigious institutions worldwide. In 2023, she was announced the winner of the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award by the Israeli Ministry of Culture.
